| Adhar Detail will be removed from sim cards |
Supreme court has declared that Adhar is no more needed for the mobile network connection. They also declare that Adhar information will not be needed while buying a new sim card. If the consumer wants to delete their Adhar information from the existing sim card connections, they can easily contact UIDAI to erase. UIDAI and telecom provider service claim if the consumer applies to delete Adhar detail, they will surely do that.
After the Supreme Court's declaration, Telecom providers told that they ask for Adhar detail as DOT claims and so now, the Adhar number will be erased or not that will be decided by DOT. DOT claims there are too many fake connections happens regularly so they had to take this step and for this, old customers also add their Adhar detail with their existing sim cards. And for that reason, Supreme Court has asked them to remove Adhar detail from sim cards.
But those people verify their detail at the time of buying the sim, why they have to re-verify their detail again? As the reply, Mathus (CEO) says, "After taking the Adhar detail, there is no old detail in the sim cards. So, if the Adhar detail also is removed, there is no more information rest of the consumer."
But Vodafone, Idea, Jio, Airtel doesn't say anything about this debate. Mathus (CEO) says, DOT has sent them orders and they will definitely help the consumers.
But, there are other rumours spread in India that is those sim cards that connect with Adhar, will lose their connections. But, UIDAI and DOT said that those are the fake news. There is no worry to lose connections or any kind of issue with the network connections. Around 50 crore sim cards have verified with Adhar, that is the half of the sim card connections in India.
