Captain Kohli reveals Team India's new jersey at ICC World Cup 2019. Virat gives a thumbs-up to it and says that they will be wearing it on Sunday's group match at Edgbaston against England.
Team India, the 'Men In Blue' will be wearing the orange-blue jersey to distinguish themselves from England, who will be wearing a lighter version of blue.
Some debates are also going on by the opposition political party against Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their official trademark colour is saffron.
When a reporter asks Kohli to rate the new jersey out of 10, Kohli said, "I quite like it. I think it's right up there. For me, it would be eight."
In the tournament, four other teams also have to wear different colour's jersey to avoid looking like the same as the opposition.
Such as Afganistan, who wears Blue, will be wearing Red in their next three matches.
And South Africa, who usually wears Green, will be wearing Gold and also Shrilanka swapped their Blue jerseys with Yellow for a couple of matches.
Bangladesh will be wearing Red instead of their trademark evergreen colour Green.
But at the conclusion, Kohli also says, "The fit of this jersey is great, it's a nice change. But for one game, it's perfect. I don't think we will be wearing it forever because Blue is our colour and we feel very proud to wear it. For a change while looking at the occasion, the new one is a smart kit."
